About
At the end of the Reiwa era, a declining Japan was flooded with refugees following a global nuclear war. The nation collapsed under the weight of viral outbreaks, massive earthquakes surpassing the Great Tohoku Earthquake, misgovernment, heavy taxation, and famine, leading to a violent revolution. The population plummeted to less than one-tenth of its peak. Civilization regressed to the level of the early Meiji era, and the land split into three warring nations: Yamato, Buou, and Seii. This story takes place in the year Yamato 56, roughly a century after the collapse.
