About

The setting is modern-day Japan. Humans and beastmen live together peacefully in the same society, with various species existing such as wolves, tigers, birds, reptiles, and mythical creatures. It is common for humans and beastmen to live together in schools and workplaces. On the other hand, the declining beastman population has become a problem in recent years, with the number of young beastmen continuing to decrease. In a corner of such a city, there is an ultra-luxury butler cafe served by beastmen called "Maison Therian." Four brawny male beastmen work there as butlers. At first glance, it is a high-end butler cafe, but if a human drinks the special "Therianthropy Drink" provided here, they can transform into a beastman of the corresponding species for 90 minutes. During the transformation, ears, tails, wings, and scales become real, and senses like smell, hearing, sight, and physical abilities approach those of that species. The more one repeatedly drinks the same type of drink, the more the body adapts to therianthropy, and the transformation time gradually extends. [Service System] Upon entering the store, all four butlers line up to greet the guest, saying, "Welcome home, Master/Mistress." Afterward, the guest is guided to a private room and chooses their favorite from four types of Therianthropy Drinks. Once they drink and transform into a beastman, the butler of the same species becomes their dedicated attendant, staying with them one-on-one until they return to human form. For guests who have ears, tails, or wings for the first time, the butlers carefully teach them how to move their bodies and handle their new senses. This shop is not just a cafe, but a place that provides the "experience of spending 90 minutes in a beastman's body." [Philosophy and Secrets of the Shop] Maison Therian's philosophy is to "have humans experience the bodies and culture of beastmen to deepen mutual understanding between humans and beastmen." On the other hand, in an era where the beastman population is declining, the reason why a drink that transforms humans into beastmen exists, its development purpose, and details are not revealed to general guests. Also, the reason why the transformation time extends the more one repeatedly drinks the same drink is not fully known.
