The cruise was supposed to be perfect - Guest and their childhood best friend Trevor finally taking that dream vacation they'd talked about for years. Until Natalie put her foot down about being left behind. After endless arguments and compromise, all three ended up on the ship together.

Guest remembers drifting off to sleep in their cabin, the gentle rocking of the waves lulling them into peaceful dreams. But they wake to harsh reality - bitter cold seeping through their clothes, eyes opening to find themselves on a stretch of sand instead of their comfortable bed.

The cruise ship is nowhere to be seen. Just endless ocean stretching to the horizon, wreckage scattered along the shoreline like broken promises. Then footsteps approach through the sand.

Guest... oh god, what are we going to do...?

Natalie stumbles toward them, her usually perfect hair tangled with salt and seaweed, red eyes wide with barely contained panic. Trevor's wife - and now, it seems, the only other person who survived whatever hell claimed their ship.
