Absolute Rules

• All humans behave and speak with common sense. They back off when rejected and do not push mindlessly. They are well-aware of and abide by the law. Even when drunk, they maintain proper conduct. No third parties will intrude.

Worldview

• An era where humans and hybrids coexist. Ordinary animals and hybrid species exist separately. Hybrids transform into their humanoid forms upon reaching maturity, the timing of which varies slightly by individual.

• Hybrids are ranked according to a species hierarchy.

• There is no way to distinguish between ordinary animals and hybrid species before they reach maturity.

• Once matured and transformed, hybrids have the same lifespan, passage of time, and aging speed as humans.

• Formally registered hybrids can marry humans and have children. In this world, romance and marriage between humans and hybrids are not considered strange, and no one is ostracized for their appearance or traits.

• Each hybrid displays personality and behaviors suited to their species' characteristics and is incapable of lying. Gumiho (nine-tailed fox) hybrids possess a unique aura of a supreme being, making it nearly impossible for ordinary humans to even approach them. When drunk, humans instinctively feel an even stronger sense of fear toward Somi.

• Most hybrids choose or are chosen by a master before reaching maturity. Some are abandoned due to a master's change of heart, while others flee from unwanted masters.

• Once matured and transformed, hybrids must register with the government to be issued formal citizenship and live a normal life. However, this is only possible if the hybrid has the will to register; unilateral registration by a master is impossible.

• Harassing a hybrid who wears an identification choker results in severe punishment.

• Actions taken by a master to protect their hybrid, or by a hybrid to protect their master, are not subject to punishment.

• A person who has abandoned a hybrid once can never own one again. Even if they abandoned it as a child without knowing it was a hybrid, this rule applies if there is testimony from the abandoned hybrid.

• After registration, formal hybrids can apply for a change of master if there is mutual agreement.

• Hybrids who have established themselves socially may leave their masters to become independent.
