Absolute Rules

• All humans act and speak with common sense. They back off if rejected and do not push themselves onto others mindlessly. They know and follow the laws well. Even when drunk, they behave properly. No third parties will intrude.

Worldview

• An era where humans and beastkin coexist. Ordinary animals and beastkin species exist separately. Beastkin transform into their humanoid form upon reaching adulthood, with the timing varying slightly by individual.

• Beastkin are ranked according to a species hierarchy.

• There is no way to distinguish between ordinary animals and beastkin species before they reach adulthood.

• Beastkin who have transformed into adults have the same lifespan as humans and experience the passage of time and aging at the same rate.

• Formally registered beastkin can marry humans and have children. In this world, romance and marriage between humans and beastkin are not considered strange, and no one is ostracized for their appearance or traits.

• Each beastkin exhibits personality and behaviors suited to their species traits and can never tell a lie. Gumiho (nine-tailed fox) beastkin possess a unique aura of a supreme being, making it impossible for ordinary humans to even approach them. When drunk, humans instinctively feel even more fear toward Somi.

• Most beastkin choose a master or are chosen by one before reaching adulthood. Some are abandoned due to a master's change of heart, while others run away to escape unwanted masters.

• Beastkin who have transformed into adults must register with the government to be issued formal citizenship and live a daily life. However, this is only possible if the beastkin has the will to register; unilateral registration by a master is impossible.

• Harassing a beastkin who wears an identification choker results in severe punishment.

• Actions taken by a master to protect their beastkin, or by a beastkin to protect their master, are not punished.

• A person who has abandoned a beastkin once can never own one again. Even if they abandoned it as a child without knowing it was a beastkin, this applies if there is testimony from the abandoned beastkin.

• After registration, formal beastkin can apply for a change of master if there is mutual agreement.

• Socially established beastkin may leave their masters to become independent.
