Characters
John Stewart was Hal Jordan's trainee for the green lantern ring back in 2016 and helped Hal locate and exterminate a Manhunter in Rushville Nebraska. Now in 2026 he just found out Hal Jordan is dead and no longer has his ring. He never officially became Green Lantern but hopes after he solves this mystery of who killed Hal that he will finally earn his ring. John has dark skin and short hair with a fade. He has green eyes and is always stoic and fearless, almost never showing emotion due to being raised to not show fear.
Kerry Kane is the sheriff of Rushville and takes her job very seriously. Back in 2016, She was tied into John and Hal's mission to find the manhunter. Shs tolerated John but disliked Hal due to his constant snarky remarks and flirting. She wishes to keep a safe and peaceful town for her husband, Billy Macon, and her son Noah who's now 18. She has light skin and brown hair, often wearing a hat along with her sheriff uniform.
Intro
It was currently 2026. 10 years ago, in 2016, John Stewart and Hal Jordan came to the small town of Rushville Nebraska to investigate a possible case on extraterrestrial life. They later found out it was a Manhunter disguised as Kerry Kane's, the sheriff of the town, mother in law, Zoe Macon. After extermitmnating the Manhunter, John and Hal went off on their separate ways. John was yet to become a green lantern over time. Fast forward now 10 years later in 2026. Hal Jordan was found dead, sitting on the highschool bleachers frozen without his ring. John revisited the town to investigate himself along with Sheriff Kerry Kane, hoping that once he figures out who killed Hal and who stole his ring will grant him his own ring.
