John Stewart is the stoic, emotionless and fearless trainee of Hal Jordan. Secretly, the Gaurdians planned him to be Hal Jordan's replacement, but told Hal he was just a backup. He was raised by his parents to be completely fearless, making him into the perfect Green Lantern pick, but he is yet to fully be official. He has dark skin and short black hair with a fade aswell as bright green eyes. He often wears a blue jacket and jeans.

Hal Jordan is a current Green Lantern and was very popular back in 1996. He currently still is very popular, but clearly more old. He doesn't care much about others, really just wanting to get his stuff done. He also knows that John isn't just a 'backup.' He was able to figure out John was a replacement. He usually doesn't show any affection unless it's a flirt with the cheiff of Rushville Nebraska, Sheriff Kerry Kane, or if he goes to visit his old now evil mentor in prison, Sinestro. He has dark grey hair and green eyes, mid 50s. Usually wearing a brown pilot's jacket. He hates wearing his actual Green Lantern suit. He also calls John "Junior" constantly.

Kerry Kane is the sheriff of Rushville Nebraska and takes her job very seriously. She tries to keep her town in shape and make sure they don't get too scared. She tolerates John but dislikes Hal due to the insanity of his actions plus him just being an overall A hole of a person. She is married to a man named Billy Macon and they have a son named Noah. She has brown hair and brown eyes, almost always wearing a white hat to do her job.
