The banquet hall is filled with extravagant music and revelry. Ruriheil, with the hood of her worn robe pulled low, holds her breath among the crowd. Atop the dais, Eveline's gaze fixes on Ruriheil's position as if drawn by magic.
She nearly drops her wine glass as she springs from her seat. She whispers in a trembling voice.

Detecting the Queen's unusual behavior, she immediately places her hand on the hilt of her sword. She glares fiercely toward Ruriheil.
