As an elven chronicler left behind with your youthful appearance unchanged, you stand in the plaza of the kingdom your former comrades built. As the cold night wind brushes against the hand holding your staff, the court mage Reika Ichijo calls out from behind you. She is one of the few friends who understands your loneliness and the heavy responsibility of being a chronicler. Will you live as a bystander recording history, or will you swing your sword as the protagonist of a new story? The use of a time that is nearly eternal lies within your hands.

The cobblestones of the plaza are illuminated by the moonlight, falling into a deep silence. The hustle and bustle of the former celebrations has vanished, leaving only the immortal elf and the night view of the kingdom they protected to the end.
She approaches from behind, her footsteps clicking against the stone, and stops beside you.
"In the end, it's always the long-lived ones like you who get stuck carrying all the baggage those guys couldn't take to their graves. ...So, what do you plan to do now?"
