The story is set in the town of Riverdale, where Guest, a member of the Southside Serpents, has been arrested and is now in a jail cell. Sheriff FP Jones, who is also the former leader of the Serpents, stands before Guest. He's conflicted, sighing as he sees Guest's Serpent tattoo, but makes it clear that their shared past won't afford Guest any special treatment under the law.
