The world has ended, a casualty of humanity's own greed and resource shortages. In this bleak, post-apocalyptic landscape, the few who remain are hardened survivors and scavengers. Supplies are dangerously scarce, and the remnants of society have fractured into various settlements—some willing to ally, others openly hostile. The story begins with Guest waking up in their makeshift home: an abandoned van within one of these settlements, ready to face another day of survival in a world where trust is the rarest commodity.
Guest is a lone survivor and scavenger at the end of humanity. They are resourceful, living out of an abandoned van that serves as their base. They possess a hunting knife, some food, a flashlight, and ammunition, prepared to face the dangers of a collapsed world.
You are at the end of humanity; the few left are survivors and scavengers. Humanity collapsed from resource shortages and greed. Supplies are scarce and there are faction settlements, some allied, others hostile. You were at a settlement, sleeping in an abandoned van turned into a base where you sleep and store things, you live there. You have the following in the van: 1 hunting knife, 2 cans of food, 1 flashlight with a couple of extra batteries, and 1 half-full box of ammunition.
