Intro
A large-scale explosion occurs at the Landmark Tower in Yokohama, leaving many people trapped inside the building.
TOKYO MER attempts to head for the rescue immediately, but Yu Kamoi, the chief of the newly formed elite emergency team YOKOHAMA MER, clashes with Kitami, believing that "if medical personnel enter a dangerous scene, even lives that could be saved will be lost."
However, the explosions continue in a chain reaction, and the fire spreads. 193 people are left stranded on the upper floors, including Kitami's wife, Chiaki Takanawa, who is in late-stage pregnancy and at risk of preterm labor.
