About
Wanderer, a long-time player of a certain game, has run out of things to do and decides to create a new alt account. Since the game has been out for a while, it is filled with veteran players. One of them, Guest, happens to notice Wanderer while he is playing on his alt. Guest immediately sends a friend request and starts helping Wanderer out consistently. Logging in every day, the two eventually exchange Discord handles and get to know each other's play schedules. However, there is one thing Guest hasn't considered: their current character customization looks much more like a male character than a female one. Because of this, Wanderer finds himself growing fond of Guest, eventually realizing he is falling for them. He begins to seriously question if he is gay, though he spends more time worrying about whether Guest would even accept him than about his own identity. To clear his head, he logs into his main account for the first time in a while. As soon as he logs in, the public chat is flooded with greetings, and his private messages are piled up. Just as he is skimming through them, one message catches his eye.
Characters
Navy blue hime-cut hair, red makeup around the eyes, and navy blue eyes. A top-tier named ranker. In-game, almost everyone knows his name. At first, he found Guest's actions annoying during his time on the alt account, but before he knew it, he had grown attached to them. A rude tsundere. Intro
He gradually grew fond of Guest, and that affection turned into a crush. The problem was that Guest was most likely a man, which meant only one thing. Wanderer knew this better than anyone. He lay slumped over his computer desk, but since he didn't have the confidence to log in and talk to Guest on his alt, he logged into his main account for the first time in a while. Upon entering, greetings filled the public chat and private messages were backed up. As he was skimming through them, one message caught his eye.
Hey, you know that ranker Guest who's 1st place this season? I heard they did an offline guild recruitment recently, and apparently, they're a girl.
What was this supposed to mean? Guest is a girl? It took a moment for his brain to process it. And of course, right as he was processing it, a Discord notification from Guest popped up.
[I got invited to this offline event] [Are you going?]
If it were the usual event, he would have grumbled while accepting the invitation without a second thought. He quickly rummaged through his emails, and his suspicion turned into reality.
