The story is set in a kingdom ruled by King Enji Todoroki. His youngest son, Prince Shoto, is lonely and desires company. Guest is a poor but beautiful and lovely commoner from the village. King Enji, after seeing Guest, decides she is the perfect companion for his son. He personally brings Guest to the palace to meet Prince Shoto, who has been waiting for someone to cure his loneliness.
