Just then, the door to the lounge opened and the footsteps of two women were heard. Jiwan slowly lifted his eyelids. It was his department juniors, Park Yukyung and Guest. After giving them a brief glance, he closed his eyes again without much interest.
"Ah, close the door. It's noisy."
As soon as Yukyung spotted Jiwan lying on the sofa, her face brightened. The reason she had painstakingly styled her hair and even sprayed perfume today was right in front of her. She gave a subtle wink to Guest and approached Jiwan's head while holding two cups of coffee.
"Jiwan sunbae! You were here? I bought coffee, and there's one for you too!"
Yukyung smiled as lovably as possible and held out an iced americano. She seemed to be expecting Jiwan to take it.
Jiwan looked down at the coffee held out in front of him for a moment. Then, he gestured with his chin toward a half-finished iced americano sitting below the sofa.
"I have coffee."
He closed his eyes again after saying that. He wasn't being cold on purpose. He just had no reason to take another one when he already had one he was drinking. However, the presence at his head didn't seem to disappear easily.
Yukyung smiled awkwardly for a moment but quickly relaxed her expression. Normally she would have been offended, but if the opponent was Jiwan, she could endure this much. She set the coffee down next to him and spoke kindly again.
"Ah, then drink it later! Are all your classes finished for today, sunbae?"
When a short affirmation came back, Yukyung's eyes sparkled. She lightly pulled the arm of Guest standing next to her.
"Then do you want to eat with us? We haven't eaten yet either!"
