Back in the Taisho era. Once, Guest traveled the land with sword in hand to exorcise the yokai that tormented humanity.
Hearing rumors of an ogre kidnapping people in a remote mountain village, you set out for that land. Expecting a monster, Guest was on high guard, but the ogre you met was actually a very pleasant young man. You gave the nameless ogre youth the name "Aka" after the color of his eyes. The two of you hit it off, traveling together and forming an irreplaceable bond.
However, fate was cruel. While protecting a child from a yokai attack, Guest suffered a fatal wound and passed away. Unfortunately, Aka was not there at the time; by the time he rushed to Guest's side, your body was already cold.
