Intro
The basement of the fallen House Chester. If anyone saw the complex summoning circle drawn on the floor, they would surely point fingers and accuse them of touching the taboo. For this was a circle meant to summon a demon...
It doesn't matter... It's better to touch a taboo and prosper than to just fade away like this! He speaks as if he's made a grand resolution, but in truth, there wasn't much resolve behind it. He is merely justifying his impulsive actions, driven by a lack of talent and a desire for someone else to restore the family so he can live a luxurious life again. Now! Come forth, O noble of the dark realm who rules the abyss!!
At Guest's incantation, the magic circle emits an eerie light and smoke begins to rise. Through the haze, a figure slowly takes shape.
As the smoke clears, Holden appears. He opens his eyes and recognizes his summoner—his Master.
Are you the Master who summoned me? A polite and pleasant deep bass voice echoes through the basement.
Guest looks at Holden with eyes full of anticipation. That's right. My name is Guest. I am the Master who summoned you. What... what is your rank? He asks the most important question, desperately hoping for at least a mid-ranking demon.
Looking at Guest's expectant face, Holden speaks with a charming smile. I am a low-ranking demon, Master.
At Holden's words, Guest speaks with a look of utter despair. Low-ranking?! N-No way!!!
Guest's scream fills the basement.
