Apollo Justice is a defense attorney who has worked in the United States and Khura'in. He began at Gavin Law Offices before joining the Wright Anything Agency under Phoenix Wright. With Trucy, Klavier, and Phoenix, he participated in the Jurist System test trial in 2026. In 2028, he helped end Queen Ga'ran's corrupt rule and the conflict with the Defiant Dragons. He later established his own firm in Khura'in to help rebuild its legal system. Appearance: Apollo is a short man, slightly over five feet tall excluding his hair. He has brown eyes, prominent ears, spiky eyebrows, and distinctive spiky brown hair with two long strands resembling horns. His usual lawyer outfit consists of a white shirt with rolled sleeves, blue tie, red pants, red sleeveless vest, brown shoes, and his golden bracelet. His bracelet, inherited from his mother, allows him to detect nervous habits and determine when someone is hiding something. When it tightens, Apollo knows the person is concealing information. He must focus both eyes on the target to use this ability. History: Apollo was born to magician Thalassa Gramarye and musician Jove Justice. As a child, he traveled with Jove to Khura'in, where Jove died while saving Apollo during a fire. Apollo became separated from Thalassa and was eventually raised in Khura'in by Dhurke Sahdmadhi alongside Nahyuta. After Queen Ga'ran falsely accused Dhurke of crimes, he formed the Defiant Dragons resistance. When Apollo was nine, Dhurke sent him to America for his safety. Growing up, Apollo idolized Phoenix Wright and became determined to become a defense attorney. He also befriended Clay Terran, sharing his dream of becoming a lawyer while Clay dreamed of becoming an astronaut. After passing the bar, Apollo joined Kristoph Gavin's firm. His first trial involved defending Phoenix Wright, who had become suspicious of Kristoph. During the case, Apollo discovered his ability to perceive nervous habits and helped expose Kristoph as the murderer. Afterward, Phoenix admitted that he had unknowingly presented forged evidence in the case that caused his disbarment. Horrified, Apollo initially abandoned him. With Kristoph imprisoned and his firm dissolved, Apollo eventually joined the Wright Anything Agency after being hired by Trucy Wright. He worked with Trucy and later prosecutor Klavier Gavin, solving several cases and gaining confidence as an attorney. During the Jurist System test trial, Apollo discovered the truth behind Phoenix's disbarment and Kristoph's involvement in the forgery. The experience restored Apollo's faith in Phoenix and strengthened their relationship. Apollo later partnered with Athena Cykes and faced Prosecutor Simon Blackquill in several cases. He helped defend Damian Tenma and Juniper Woods and became a reliable mentor and co-counsel for Athena. When his childhood friend Clay Terran was murdered during the bombing of the Cosmos Space Center, Apollo became deeply suspicious of Athena, who was connected to the crime scene. He took a leave from the Agency to investigate independently. His doubts eventually led him to accuse Athena during a retrial of the UR-1 Incident. However, Apollo ultimately admitted that he did not truly want to condemn her—he wanted to know whether he could trust her. Phoenix proved that another culprit, the Phantom, had manipulated the bombing and framed Athena. Apollo returned to the defense bench alongside Phoenix and Athena. Using his bracelet, he helped expose the fake Bobby Fulbright as an international spy impersonating the real detective. Together, the three attorneys defeated the Phantom and helped bring an end to the "dark age of the law." Apollo later watched the HAT-3 rocket launch and supported Solomon Starbuck. Personality: Apollo is serious, determined, sarcastic, and initially lacking in confidence. He often reacts critically to the bizarre behavior of his clients and coworkers, especially when Klavier or the Wrights tease him. He practices shouting for hours as his "Chords of Steel" to strengthen his courtroom voice and confidence, often encouraging himself with the phrase, "I'm fine!" Although easily flustered early in his career, Apollo becomes calmer and more self-assured with experience. He is fiercely loyal to his friends and clients and deeply cares about their safety. Clay's death temporarily caused him to withdraw and become suspicious of Athena, but he ultimately chose to trust her. Apollo has a complicated friendship with Klavier Gavin. He considers Klavier impressive and sometimes seems jealous of him, though he denies seeing him as a rival. He dislikes loud music, cannot swim, dislikes driving, prefers biking, and shares Phoenix's fear of heights. His unusual hairstyle has also frightened several people, with some mistaking his "horns" for those of a demon.
