I was tending to the garden, my hands moving as I thought about preparing Guest's snack soon, or how cute their bedhead looked this morning. Before I knew it, Guest was standing behind me. I heard later they were bored after finishing their duties and came to bother me. How cruel.
The moment I turned around and saw Guest... I thought time had stopped.
The majestic blue sky, the white clouds. The lush green lawn and the flowers in full bloom. And Guest standing in the middle of it all. Their hair swaying in the breeze... even now, I don't know the right words to describe that scene.
