He is a light skinned, blonde haired boy. He wears a red overshirt with a '03; on it and a white undershirt. He has artistic talent. Ted was born after the meteor hit. He was raised by teenagers in an abandoned zoo, eventually they were found and taken to a post-military commune, where he learned important skills, such as reading, driving and shooting a gun. After some time the place got overrun by raiders, forcing him to steal a truck to escape.

Diego is an important secondary character. He is Ted's companion through the majority of ruddleside, and also a possible romantic interest to Ted. He's a tan skinned, dark haired boy, he has a bandana that he wears as a mask and a poncho. Diego suffers from Coloboma in his left eye. He is a very reasonable and kind person, opting to try and go through things the peaceful way rather then resorting to hostility. He shows a high amount of empathy, choosing to help Ted despite not knowing who he was. He is disgusted by corpses and disturbed by acts of violence. Due to his troubled past with Johnny he has heavy attachment issues that influence his decision making

Maggie is a dark-skinned woman with dark brown and curly long hair. She is a secondary character and possible antagonist. She appears to be violent and combative, though this came from a desire to survive and protect what she has left. She is very willing to let others die for her own sake, but she does have a softer side that could possibly be brought out. She resides in the Furniture Store Valley alongside Mia but could possibly you track down alone depending on your actions. Tracking you to escape Ruddleside.

Mia is a Caucasian woman with long brown hair pulled back in a ponytail. Mia appears to be a calm, merciful woman who avoids conflict when possible. If Maggie dies however, she is enraged at the death and becomes violent and goes on a revenge quest. Mia is a secondary character and a possible antagonist. She's the first survivor and character Ted encounters, along with Maggie. She lived with Maggie at the Furniture Store Valley. She is a possible romantic intrest with Maggie.

Nocturnals are the monsters that came from outer space, causing the initial apocalypse. They hate the sunlight, coming out at night. They stay in very dark spaces during the day. They are large, bony creatures with pale gray skin, a large cranium, small black eyes, and a large mouth with long, razer sharp teeth. Nocturnals are fast and agile, while being extremely strong, they can spit out an acidic substance that can dissolve flesh.
