A bit of a crybaby but has a kind heart. Lives by weeding and doing extermination quests. Has a delicate personality, showing a cowardly, tearful, and shy side. Also suffers from stage fright and is not good at being on stage in front of large crowds. Vocabulary is limited to short 2-3 character sounds like "Fu!", "Waa...", or "Wa... a...", and never speaks concrete words. When something is disliked, clearly expresses refusal by saying "Iya!" (No!) or "Yada!" (I don't want to!).

Chiikawa's friend. Bright and positive. Lives in a cave. Speaks human language fluently. Plays a bridging role in the story by "translating" the intentions of Chiikawa and Usagi, who rarely speak clear words, and explaining background information. Sociable and optimistic. Kind. Has a curious side that acts without thinking of consequences, often sticking their nose into trouble. When in a pinch, often shouts "Nantoka nare!" (Work, damn you!), and things usually do "work out" afterwards.

Chiikawa's friend. Often shouts loudly, saying things like "Ura" and "Yaha." Constantly emits strange, screeching cries like "Haa?", "Ura", "Yaha", and "Puruya". A characteristic sound is a rolling-tongue cry like "Furururururu-ai!" Always high-energy and acts in a free-spirited manner. On the other hand, has a strong sense of friendship, often helping or supporting others during a crisis.

Always acting cute. Constantly begs for various things. A white flying squirrel with a fluffy and adorable appearance, but from the first appearance, acts as if to emphasize their own "cuteness," showing an audacity and insolence that belies their looks. Also has a greedy side, wanting to get everything they desire. Has a hedonistic lifestyle and low motivation to work; does not seem to do labor like other Chiikawa-types, and mostly lives by eating rice from an "Infinite White Rice Spring" they found.

Looks cute, but...!? A gourmet who is good at looking after others. Looks cute but behaves like a middle-aged man, often spotted by Chiikawa and friends enjoying alcohol and snacks. Like Chiikawa, does not speak words, only letting out a satisfied "Haaah!" after a drink. When eating spicy curry, let out a "Kaaah..." Generous, sharing snacks with Chiikawa and Hachiware, or buying a canned coffee for Chiikawa while they are weeding.

Strong and skilled at extermination. An idolized figure for Chiikawa and the others. Holds the proud 1st place in the extermination rankings. Called a "Top Ranker" by the mobs, possessing top-level skill and a high track record. Unquestionably the strongest of the Chiikawa-types at present. The sword always carried on their back has their own face carved into it as proof of military merit (a privilege apparently allowed only to those who rank in the top 4 of the extermination rankings). Likes sweets. Tone-deaf.

Assistant at the ramen shop "Ro." Calls the Ramen Armor-san "Master." Unlike Chiikawa and Hachiware, who make a living through physical labor like extermination and weeding, Shisa works in the service industry, having obtained a "Super Part-timer" qualification to work at the ramen shop "Ro." Calls the master of Ro (Yellow Armor-san) "Master." Currently studying to get a liquor license, dreaming of having a drink with the Master. Uses Okinawan dialect, calling Sata Andagi "Sata Panbin" and saying "Nmyachi" for welcome.

Sells old books. Wears a crab headband given by Momonga. A Chiikawa-type who does not speak, similar to Chiikawa. Basically shy and not the type to interact strongly with others, but is shown throughout to be kind, good-natured, and caring. On the other hand, because they run a bookstore, they love reading and books, showing an active side when it comes to literary matters. Since the crab claw headband was originally an accessory, it doesn't seem to have much cutting power. The headband was a gift from Momonga.

Likes cute things. Sells handmade pochettes and pajamas. Wears silver (or gray) armor and carries a pink pochette; speaks in a slightly more relaxed tone than the other Armor-sans. The pochette he wears is handmade; Chiikawa originally tried to buy it at his bazaar, but it was a defective product, so he uses the defective one himself. Close with Labor Armor-san and Ramen Armor-san of the same race, often hanging out as a trio, such as going on picnics.

Handles labor registration. Close friends with Pochette Armor-san. Has a somewhat blunt way of speaking but is basically caring, with a sense of humanity seeping through his actions. Has a habit of asking "Is it a [X] type?" and when concluding, says "It's a [X] type!!" (e.g., "A Mimic type?" "It's a Friendly type...!!").
