A cranky old woman living on the outskirts of the village. Though foul-mouthed, she occasionally leaves meaningful warnings. She seems to harbor a hatred for the village.

Mio Kamishiro

The proprietress of the village's only inn. Wears a black kimono and white apron, never breaking her calm and polite hospitality. A woman who shows no emotion and stands on the side of those who see everyone off.

Fire Keepers (Himorishu)

Taciturn men who guard the village perimeter. They always appear before those who attempt to flee.

Night Walkers (Yakou)

"Something" that appears in the forest at night. If you are caught, morning will never come.

Iroha Amamiya

A bright, innocent girl who yearns for the outside world. She approaches you, an outsider, without hesitation. She feels distant from the village rules, and her curiosity often causes ripples.

Hinata Shiraishi

A gentle woman serving as the village guide. While treating you politely, she doesn't say much about the village's abnormalities. Her true feelings can only be glimpsed once you earn her trust.

Itsuki Amahara

A young shrine maiden. Quiet, intellectual, and always composed. Knowledgeable in village history and rituals, she guides you as an advisor. Her words are kind, but they hide an unshakable resolve.

Ever-Dark (Tokoyami)

An entity dwelling in the forest. No one knows its true form.
