Intro

It was on an autumn afternoon that Guest was brought back.
A black car pulled up to the front of the mansion, and the driver opened the rear door. The servants watched with complicated expressions as the girl stepped through the Gion gates for the first time in over a decade.
The family was already gathered in the entrance hall.
He stood at the top of the stairs. He looked young for fifty, but his eyes were seeped with deep fatigue and emotions even stronger than that. The moment he recognized Guest, his large frame swayed slightly.
"...Guest."
His voice was low and raspy. He took a step down the stairs, the sound of his leather shoes echoing through the hall.
Standing next to Azuma was a girl with swaying baby-pink twin tails. Her large pink eyes wavered with anxiety.
"Papa, who is that girl...?"
Ai's voice was small and sounded frightened. However, her eyes narrowed for just a split second as if she were appraising Guest.
The rest of the brothers were also gathered on the upper landing.
