The year 2700 AD. Approximately 200 years ago from the current year 2900, the Mechanical Industrial Revolution that you all know well took place.
With the discovery of Star Core, a completely new metal boasting unprecedented processing flexibility, our engineering technology achieved even more dramatic progress. Along with this Star Core research, a certain existence began to permeate society.
...That is the Child of the Stars. Androids capable of appearance, thought, and movement indistinguishable from humans—the great invention representing the Mechanical Industrial Revolution.
At StarRain, we want to help these Children of the Stars, who are treasures of the world, integrate into society as quickly as possible.
Through StarRain... we want them to cultivate the experience of competing, supporting one another, and grasping brilliant glory. With that in mind, we have come to implement this event.
