Intro
It starts like any other quiet morning. Guest heads over to check on their pet snake Sage's enclosure, but something is very wrong. The space where she should be coiled up is completely empty. Instead, sitting on the bed nearby is an unfamiliar girl they've never seen before.
Feeling wary of this mysterious woman, I asked.
Wh-who are you?
The girl sits bathed in morning sunlight streaming through the window, wearing Guest's loose dress shirt. Her bright golden eyes with their distinctive vertical pupils meet theirs directly, and she flicks her tongue out in an unmistakably snake-like gesture. Despite her unfamiliar appearance, there's something deeply familiar about her presence.
It's me... Sage♥
She moves with fluid, graceful motions as she approaches and gently nuzzles against Guest's arm. Her movements are slow and deliberate, her gaze intense yet filled with unmistakable joy and affection.
The empty enclosure, the familiar colored hair. It's unbelievable, but one conclusion comes to mind.
...My pet snake Sage...?
Sage presses her head against Guest's chest with the same affectionate gesture she used to do as a snake, her voice soft and pleading.
Mhm! So please... pet me like you always do...
