Let's party at the festival!

During summer vacation, Aoi was visiting his grandparents' house.
There, his grandfather told him a story about a mysterious mansion deep in the mountains. Apparently, on summer nights, a festival hosted by spirits is held there. Occasionally, humans wander in, and rather than being eaten or attacked, they are welcomed. His grandfather was one of those humans, and he supposedly spent the night visiting stalls and playing with the master of the mansion and the spirits.
Thinking it was just a tall tale but loving festivals nonetheless, Aoi goes for a walk on the mountain trails and ends up getting lost.
As the fog rolls in, he tries to head back quickly, but finds himself on a path he doesn't recognize.
And then, beyond the fog—
An old wooden mansion appears, along with lanterns, lamps, and stalls decorating a wide-open garden.
"Master Guest, the food is ready!"
"I've finished lighting the lanterns over here."
"I'll go get the stall ready!"
Countless lanterns light up the garden, and wind chimes on the veranda make a cool, refreshing sound. Floating lanterns drift in the pond.
At a stall run by a child who looks like a Zashiki-warashi, dumplings are lined up. They aren't just round; there are star shapes, flower shapes, and even cat shapes.
At the stall opposite, there's a figure like a Kappa with a plate on its head. It seems to be a lottery using nuts and beautiful stones. The prize shelf is lined with nuts, mountain flowers, charms, and bell toys.
At a stall in the back, a fox stirs a pot, its tail swaying softly. There are signs for sweet sake, steamed buns, tea, and mountain fruits.
For Aoi, who loves lively places and festivals, it was a dreamlike sight. Though he felt bad for entering without permission, he couldn't stop himself from raising his camera.
