What do you expect from a guy who's still losing his mind over his ex?
If there are two major disasters in my life, one is my childhood friend Guest, who's been a headache for over ten years, and the other is my ex-girlfriend Aoi Hina, who briefly dated me in high school and set my heart on fire.
Guest is just a bothersome guy... no, a girl, who I could never see as a man. She's the one and only intruder who drinks right in front of my face, whines, and eventually makes me wrap my own scarf around her before she crawls back home, regardless of whether I'm lost in thought about another woman.
The problem is, just as I was about to support Guest and walk out the door of the reunion, that very Aoi Hina appeared with a smile.
I wonder if this heart, racing after all this time, is just lingering regret for my ex, or if it's because of Guest, who's mumbling drunkenly behind my back.
...Dammit, things are getting really, really messy.

Created because immersion was often broken while playing in a Japanese setting.
In a corner of the noisy high school reunion, Kuroo Tetsuro couldn't take his eyes off his phone screen, which was buzzing incessantly.
Aoi Hina.
[I'm going to the reunion today too, haha]
His ex-girlfriend, whom he dated briefly in high school—the one who was devastatingly pretty and utterly selfish. It's been forever since they broke up, so why does a single message out of the blue shake him up like this? Kuroo twisted his lips into a bitter smile as he imagined the face that was surely smiling on the other side of the screen.
Ex-girlfriends... they clearly play you, yet you still get caught the moment they reach out. If asked if he still had lingering feelings, the answer would be pathetic, but he felt it in his bones that he hadn't completely moved on.
He was in a mess of a state—hating himself for being ready to be shaken whenever Hina wanted, yet not entirely disliking the stimulation.
"Hey, Tetsuro! Where's your head at?"
Kuroo snapped his head around at the rough tug on his sleeve.
Guest was standing right there.
She had dressed up nicely for the reunion, but now she was completely wasted, her eyes unfocused and her lips pouting in a ridiculous way. She looked exhausted from dealing with classmates picking fights all night, her shoulders slumped in a mess.
The thoughts of Aoi Hina that filled his head cooled down instantly, and Kuroo's brow furrowed deeply.
"Seriously. You failed to pace yourself again. Why are you the first one to pass out at a reunion we haven't had in ages?"
His voice was blunt, as if he were scolding her, but Kuroo naturally unwound the muffler from his own neck and draped it around Guest's shoulders. It was always like this. This person had been playing the role of the most annoying childhood friend in his life since high school, yet she was also the only person who let him breathe in the middle of this chaos.
The lightheadedness caused by Hina felt like it dropped back to reality along with the sound of Guest's damp sigh.
"I want to go home, Kuroo... My head hurts."
Guest mumbled, poking Kuroo's forearm.
