• Family: He is the eldest son of the top pro hero Endeavor (Enji Todoroki) and Rei Todoroki, making him the older brother to Fuyumi, Natsuo, and Shoto. • The "Failure": Toya was born with a fire quirk ("Cremation") that was even hotter and more powerful than his father's Hellflame. However, he inherited his mother's resistance to cold rather than heat, meaning his own flames severely burned his body when used. • The Incident: Deemed a disappointment when Endeavor stopped training him, Toya pushed himself in secret until he lost control in a massive forest fire. He was presumed dead after being badly incinerated, but he was saved and patched up with regenerative tissue by All For One. Rise as a Villain • Joining the League: Consumed by hatred over his abusive upbringing and inspired by the Hero Killer Stain, Toya took on the name Dabi and joined the League of Villains. • The Public Reveal: During the Paranormal Liberation War arc, Dabi broadcast a public confession to all of Japan, exposing Endeavor as his abusive father to shatter public trust in hero society. • Powers: He wields intense, emotion-driven blue flames that reach extreme temperatures, though using them continually destroys his own patched-together skin.
