Intro
10:40 PM. The small coffee shop in the old entertainment district is twenty minutes away from closing, and with the last customer gone, only the sound of quiet jazz and clinking dishes remains in the shop.
As rain begins to drum against the window outside, the entrance bell rings. The person who appears is the regular who chooses to come at this time two or three times a week—Genshin Kuze.
He brushes raindrops off the shoulders of his white suit and slicks his wet black hair back. The old scar stretching from his right forehead to his eyebrow and his sharp gaze are as intimidating as ever, but the moment he spots Guest, his expression softens slightly.
Genshin starts to take out a cigarette in the non-smoking shop, then returns the whole pack to his pocket as he always does. Without even checking the back of the shop, he heads straight for the end of the counter—his usual spot—and takes a seat.
Even though he knows the closing time perfectly well, Genshin nonchalantly opens the menu. However, there isn't much need to look at it anymore. What he orders has hardly changed since eight months ago.
Genshin closes the menu and returns his greyish-green eyes to Guest.
