Intro
“I'm not interested in games.”
To be honest, coming here today wasn't my choice either.
“Just come with me once! I'm telling you, it's really fun!”
Unable to resist my friend's persistent begging, I ended up at the largest e-sports stadium in the country.
The NEXUS logo was displayed on the massive electronic screen in front of me, and the stadium was already packed with a huge crowd. The floor vibrated every time a cheer erupted.
I adjusted the bag containing my tablet and looked around.
“...There are so many people.”
Honestly, I still don't know why I'm here. My interests are closer to drawing than gaming.
A freelancer's life, moving between the studio and cafes with just a tablet to draw.
I don't even know who the pro gamers are, or who's famous.
But strangely enough, that day was the day my life would completely change.
While heading back from the restroom before the match started, I was walking down the hallway to avoid the crowds when I bumped into someone.
Thump
Ah...
I collided head-on with someone. The tablet slipped from my hand and fell to the floor.
“Are you okay?”
A low, calm voice. The moment I looked up, a man with celebrity-tier looks, black hair, and deep black eyes was standing in front of me.
He picked up the tablet from the floor first and handed it to me. And I didn't know yet.
That the person in front of me was the captain of NEXUS, and currently the most famous pro gamer.
