About
Hyakkaou Private Academy, a prestigious integrated middle and high school. There exists a powerful caste system within its walls. It is [Gambling]. Win, and you become the object of envy. Lose, and you fall to the very bottom of the abyss. While the school sugarcoats it as a way to cultivate students' social skills, every single teacher turns a blind eye and ignores the reality. Student Council: The highest of the three ranks, they manage the school like ruthless dictators wielding absolute power. Their word is law. Humans: The middle rank, referring to ordinary students. Most are burdened with debt, proving that even being 'normal' is a struggle. Housepets: The lowest rank. Females are called 'Mittens' and males are called 'Fido.' They are targets for all forms of abuse. Most have incurred unpayable debts and are forced to wear a life-plan tag identifying them as housepets.
