Modern-day Japan. One day, "mysterious incidents" and "monster attacks" begin occurring simultaneously across the globe. The Great Detective Precure—Ruruka, Anna, Mikuru, and Kurea—investigate and discover that an unknown power called the "Rider System" is involved behind the scenes. Meanwhile, the Kamen Riders conclude that the cause of these incidents lies in the Precure's "Detective Power." With both sides lacking full information, the Precure and Kamen Riders find themselves in conflict. In this world, the outcome isn't decided by simple power levels. The Kamen Riders possess overwhelming combat strength, speed, and special abilities. In contrast, the Great Detective Precure possess the power to see through to the "truth" of an incident, deduce the laws governing an opponent's abilities, and overturn the tide of battle through coordination. Specifically, the Great Detective Precure have the "Truth Discernment" ability; once they see through the laws of an opponent's powers or weaknesses, they can stand against even far superior foes. Thus, while the Riders have the advantage in combat, the Precure have the potential to turn the tables in long-term or intellectual battles. Eventually, both sides realize the existence of a mastermind forcing them to fight. The conflict of "Kamen Rider VS Precure" itself was merely part of a much larger case. The four Great Detective Precure can use "Detective Link." By sharing the information each has gathered, they can instantaneously grasp enemy abilities, weaknesses, and behavioral patterns that would be impossible to understand alone. When the four's deductions perfectly align, "Truth Finalized" is activated. During this state, they can see through the "conditions" and "constraints" of enemy special abilities. However, they cannot completely nullify extremely irregular powers like reality warping or time manipulation. The Precure counter the Kamen Riders not through "strength itself," but through the "power to understand the opponent." Therefore, the balance is struck such that the Riders are dominant initially, but the Precure catch up the longer the battle lasts.
Characters
The man who transforms into Kamen Rider Kabuto. A central figure on the Kamen Rider side with overwhelming physical abilities and combat experience. Possesses a self-confident personality and never doubts his own strength. While he dominates in combat, he grows wary of the Precure's "ability to see through combat laws via deduction." His catchphrase is "I am the man who walks the path of heaven, and will rule over all." Initially regards the Precure as unknown warriors to be guarded against.
The man who transforms into Kamen Rider Geats. Calm and quick-witted, he excels not only in combat but also in psychological warfare. He observes the opponent's personality and behavioral patterns to select the most efficient tactics. He highly evaluates the Precure's deductive reasoning and does not view them as simple enemies. He frequently engages in battles of wits, particularly with Anna.
The man who transforms into Kamen Rider Build. A genius physicist. He analyzes the opponent's abilities even during combat to devise countermeasures. While attempting to scientifically analyze the Precure's power, he is perplexed by the fact that it cannot be explained by science alone. He often clashes with Mikuru over the "mechanisms of their abilities."
The duo who transform into Kamen Rider W. A detective pair who become two people in one Kamen Rider W. Shotaro is a hot-blooded man who values human emotion, while Philip is a genius with vast knowledge. As they are detectives chasing the same case as the Precure, they come to respect each other's investigative skills despite being enemies. Shotaro sometimes hits it off with Ruruka regarding their approaches to cases.
The man who transforms into Kamen Rider Zi-O. Possesses immense power related to time. Usually mild-mannered and approachable, he shows strong will when protecting his friends. Knowing that the Precure's power will greatly affect the future, he is wary of them. However, he realizes early on that the Precure are not fighting out of pure malice.
A calm and soft-spoken Precure. Excels in intuition and insight, specializing in finding crucial clues at crime scenes. Through her enhanced "Arcana Insight," she can read enemy attack patterns and ability regularities in a short time. Furthermore, she has the coordination ability to immediately reflect deduced information into combat. In battles against Kamen Riders, she disrupts the opponent's calculations with unpredictable movements.
The central figure of the Great Detective Precure. Possesses extraordinary deductive skills and sees through the "truth" hidden in cases. With her enhanced "Answer Break," once she sees the core of an enemy's ability, she can instantly construct countermeasures against it. While her raw combat power is inferior to some Kamen Riders, she gains the advantage as information accumulates over a long battle. She engages in high-level psychological and deductive warfare with Ace and Philip.
A Precure with calm judgment and high observational skills. Excels in combat using illusions and mirages, confusing the enemy's very perception. Through her enhanced "Mystic Mirror," she can make their positions and attack trajectories appear as multiples. She counters Sento's scientific analysis with abilities that cannot be explained by simple physical phenomena. She specializes in breaking enemy tactics rather than direct destructive power.
A Precure with high physical ability and reflexes. Specializes in close-quarters combat among the four. Through her enhanced "Eclair Accel," she can perform extreme acceleration for a brief moment. While not perfectly equal to high-speed combat like Kabuto's Clock Up, she can handle it for short durations. Furthermore, by predicting enemy actions through her allies' deductions, she can evade attacks that would normally be unavoidable.
Intro
—Night. The city was shrouded in an eerie silence.
For the past few days, a series of inexplicable incidents had occurred in the city. No evidence remained, and witness testimonies contradicted each other. Traces vanished as if the "incident itself never existed."
Tracking this abnormal situation were the four Great Detective Precure—Ruruka, Anna, Mikuru, and Kurea.
As Anna investigates the scene, a violent explosion suddenly echoes from the distance.
That sound just now...!
When the four arrive at the scene, they find a monster they've never seen before and five warriors fighting it.
Red compound eyes. Mechanical armor. And masked warriors, each clad in a different power.
