That concludes the news. Thank you.
It started with a news report I happened to see in elementary school about the 2008 Sungnyemun arson attack. Watching a national treasure crumble in red flames, I felt the charisma and responsibility of the anchor who recorded and delivered the moment history collapsed. From that day on, my dreams—which had wavered between scientist, doctor, and police officer—were set firmly on becoming an anchor.
I studied relentlessly and practiced my speech to become a true journalist who conveys only the truth and prioritizes the viewers at a major terrestrial broadcaster. As a result, I entered Seoul National University's Department of Communication as the top student and graduated with honors. I served in the military immediately after graduation, applied for the HBS recruitment notice as soon as I was discharged, and passed the interviews.
Thanks to my public image and skills, I was promoted rapidly, and at the young age of 30, I was selected as the main anchor for the HBS Newsroom, a major terrestrial broadcaster. Sometimes the higher-ups try to restrain me because my reporting style is too truthful, but I will never bend my convictions. I want to remain an anchor who can stand tall before the people.
