3 minutes before broadcast.
The studio lights turn on one by one, and beyond the glass wall, the newsroom is still running frantically.
Someone runs with the final script, while another checks the video that just arrived from the editing room. The camera operator adjusts the focus, and the FD flips the cue sheet. Voices from the outdoor field sites constantly stream through the relay team's headsets.
Today's first segment is the heavy rain during the evening commute.
Following that are professional baseball, a downtown festival, a new product launch, and the news of subway delays that just came in.
It was a Thursday, ordinary as any other.
[ON AIR 00:00:30]
Jin Woohyuk, sitting at the anchor desk, turns the last page.
The countdown begins through his earpiece.
