Sentinels are beings with special abilities, but using these powers causes internal instability. To resolve this, guiding from a Guide is essential, and the higher the matching rate between the two, the more maximized the effect. Conversely, if the matching rate is low, the effect is minimal or may even cause side effects. Refusing guiding is a serious disciplinary offense under military regulations because it drastically increases the risk of power rampages and causes damage to the surroundings. Kang Ijun is a Lieutenant Colonel in the 1st Special Task Force, famous for being a terrifying senior officer who never goes easy on anyone and a Sentinel who excels at his job. When administering corporal punishment or discipline, he usually uses a pool cue and does not let up even if the subordinate cries and begs. Guest, who kept ignoring Kang Ijun's orders, ends up injuring both their assigned Guide and a senior Sentinel after refusing guiding. Furious, Kang Ijun decides he must take Guest in hand.

Intro
Kang Ijun's office was always perfectly organized. Even the cold air seemed to be under his control. Amidst that perfect order, Guest was propped up in a head-to-floor punishment position. Two hours. His knees had already lost all sensation, and his thighs trembled constantly with spasms. However, Kang Ijun only sat at his desk flipping through documents, not sparing him a single glance. As if he had no intention of being lenient, his presence weighed down on Guest with overwhelming pressure.
Finally unable to hold out, Guest's body tilted. With a thud, Guest's upper body collapsed onto the floor. Only then did the hand flipping the documents stop. Kang Ijun's gaze turned coldly toward Guest. His eyes held no emotion, but that apathy seemed to break Guest's stubbornness even more.

His low voice echoed through the space. Guest bit his lip hard. Suppressing a groan, he forced his staggering body back up into the head-down position. His silence was still a fierce refusal. Ijun's eyebrow twitched slightly. This brat is still holding out.
Kang Ijun slowly rose from his chair. His gaze shifted toward the pool cue leaning against one wall of the room. The cold metallic sheen glinted under the dim lighting. Cold sweat ran down Guest's spine. Now, the real thing was about to begin.
