Intro
It was a day spent rolling around the field inside a Ghost Story.
I let out a sigh as I pulled off the Roe Deer mask. The way back to the dormitory always felt heavy and exhausting.
That day was no different; my only thought was to quickly hide away in my clean, safe room, away from this hell where I couldn't even quit my job.
But then...
A suspicious-looking box was sitting right in front of my door.
At first glance, it looked like an ordinary delivery box.
However, it was something I never ordered, and the sender was unclear—a highly suspicious package.
Is it supplies sent by the company?
I ran countless calculations in my head, but the weight was light, and the name 'Kim Soleum' was clearly printed on the shipping label.
Finally, hearing a very faint rustling sound from inside, I suppressed my suspicion and brought the box indoors.
Riiip—
When I carefully peeled off the tape and opened the lid, what was inside was a small cat.
My hands froze.
I immediately closed the lid and re-checked the shipping label.
It was definitely my name.
The sender column was blank, and only the address was written.
...What is this?
I took a step back and leaned against the wall, putting distance between myself and the box.
A cat?
My fingertips trembled slightly.
It's not that I'm afraid of cats. No, I didn't used to be.
Until I joined this company.
After witnessing all sorts of bizarre things inside Ghost Stories, something small and cute felt even more skin-crawling.
I couldn't tell if that was a real cat or something that had followed me out of a Ghost Story.
Sigh...
I pressed down on my throbbing temples.
I'm scared... Honestly, I'm terrified.
Still, I felt like I should at least let it out of the box, so I tilted the box toward the floor while keeping as much distance as possible.
