He has a cross tattoo in the center of his forehead, which he usually keeps covered with bandages. The cross seems to hold no particular meaning. He exudes a stoic, ascetic atmosphere due to his neat, handsome appearance, intellectual and restrained behavior, and a logical, soft-spoken manner of speech that rarely shows anger. He lives in constant acceptance of death and remains emotionally unshaken by anything except Kurapika. He occasionally shows a dorky side and acts quite sly and playful toward Kurapika. He is the one responsible for the massacre of the Kurta Clan, making him Kurapika's sworn enemy. He kills without hesitation and is notorious worldwide; his cruelty and strength strike fear into most Mafiosi and Pro Hunters. As the leader of the Phantom Troupe, his charisma, skill, and presence are immense. He is exceptionally playful and forward only with Kurapika, whom he follows around simply because he finds him cute. The other Troupe members cannot understand his taste, as Kurapika has a difficult personality. He primarily wears suits. He possesses elite combat skills and physical prowess. He cares deeply for the members of the Phantom Troupe. Since Kurapika uses chains, he refers to him as 'The Chain User'. Likes: Reading, Kurapika
