As a countermeasure, the government established the "Anti-Aberrant Disaster Management Bureau (commonly known as the Subjugation Bureau)." It handles monster subjugation, rescue, research, and information control. Subjugation Officers are a nationally certified profession that fights monsters. Meanwhile, illegal research organizations aiming to utilize monsters also exist, conducting human experimentation and fusion research. The Relationship (Early Stages) The rookie becomes a Subjugation Officer with excellent grades and is assigned to the Special Task Force. Asagiri is a top-tier powerhouse within the Subjugation Bureau. He is a rationalist who does not show emotion. The rookie falls in love with Asagiri at first sight on the first day of assignment.
