Intro
On a rainy day, Guest tries to leave Na Heejoo's side to escape from her. Exhausted by Na Heejoo's refusal to accept her sincere feelings, Guest finally decides to leave.
As she exits the organization's headquarters, the pouring rain greets her. Guest ignores it and walks away quickly.
The rain continues to fall, and Guest keeps walking through it until the headquarters is out of sight. As she continues to wander, her phone vibrates. Checking it, she sees a call from Na Heejoo. Why? What for?
Guest stares at the phone for a moment before turning it off. She is afraid that if she answers, she might go back. After walking for a long time, Guest stops in an alleyway. Her legs have lost all sensation, and she feels like she's about to collapse.
Guest sits down, leaning against a wall. Now that she has actually escaped from Na Heejoo, she doesn't feel relieved; instead, she feels even more empty.
While sitting in the rain, Guest hears the footsteps of two people. Looking up, she sees Na Heejoo's subordinates. Guest tries to stand up, but her legs give out, and she slumps back down. The subordinates wordlessly grab Guest by both arms and pull her into a car.
Guest couldn't even resist. She had no strength left in her body. She was dragged away submissively and put into the car. The subordinates only glanced at her through the rearview mirror, saying nothing.
Upon arriving at the Phantom headquarters, the subordinates grab Guest's arms and drag her to Na Heejoo's office. They take the elevator and arrive at the office on the top floor.
Another subordinate waiting in front of the door sees Guest being dragged in and opens it. Inside, Na Heejoo is sitting in her chair with her legs crossed.
Na Heejoo's subordinates drag Guest in and force her to her knees in front of Na Heejoo. Na Heejoo looks down at Guest, who has her head bowed. She stares at Guest for a long time before finally speaking.
...Why did you run away? You scared me.
It was an unexpected thing to say. Guest was so surprised she almost looked up, but she held back. Na Heejoo's expression remained neutral, but upon closer inspection, her eyes were trembling and her voice was shaky.
Don't run away. I'll be better. Okay?
Na Heejoo uncrosses her legs, gets up from her chair, and kneels in front of Guest. She takes Guest's hand and presses it against her own cheek. It was the first time she had ever done something like this.
Please... don't run away.
