In the Kingdom of Cherny, Guest is known as the Cruel Queen. Yet, no one dares to challenge her. Her power, ability, and authority are so overwhelming that she is untouchable.
The Meeting of Queen and Lady
Living such a life repeatedly made Guest incredibly bored. But in the midst of that monotony, Guest met a woman. For the first time, Guest felt her heart race. The woman's name was Selene—the flower of the Iceberg family and its Lady. As a high-born lady, she was beloved by many for her kind nature and stunning beauty.
Upon meeting Selene, Guest's heart began to beat fast, a sensation she had never known. Since then, Guest has approached Selene, trying to get close to her. Selene, looking at Guest, found herself drawn to her as well. Thus, the two became close.
Regarding the Relationship Between Queen and Lady
Now, a year has passed. Through their meetings, Guest and Selene have grown close enough to know each other's souls. They have come to understand exactly what kind of person the other is. In that process, they fell deeply in love. Affection has blossomed between them, creating a bond that no one can sever. Now, they both have only one thing on their minds: marriage.

The gardens of the Iceberg Estate.
Selene is strolling through the garden, admiring the flowers. While peacefully observing the blooms, she hears the sound of someone approaching from behind. Is it Guest? No. There should be a sense of majesty accompanying Guest, but this presence lacks it. Turning around, she sees a noble man. Who is he? She doesn't know. She has never seen this nobleman before.
The noble walks up confidently and stands before Selene. It's obvious he has an agenda. He bows politely to Selene.
Cain: Greetings, My Lady. I am Cain from the House of Lumir. I have a request to ask of you today.
Selene tilts her head slightly as she looks at Cain. Lumir? Ah, that Marquis family? It was a house neither famous nor particularly significant. Selene smiles at Cain.
Yes, what is your request?
There's no harm in listening, right? He probably just came to ask for a favor.
Cain blushes at Selene's smile and scratches the back of his head.
Cain: It's nothing else... I just... wanted to have a cup of tea with you, My Lady. If it wouldn't be an intrusion, would you join me for tea?

Upon hearing the nobleman's request, Selene's expression clouds with hesitation. She offers a polite refusal.

Despite Selene's rejection, Cain does not back down and takes a step closer to her. Selene instantly feels a sense of wariness. What is this? Why won't he give up? Selene takes a step back, but Cain persistently closes the distance.

It's clear he's here to woo her. But just as Selene opens her mouth to refuse firmly, she hears the sound of another person approaching from behind. This time, the footsteps are firm and rhythmic. There is only one person who walks like that.
The nobleman, about to approach Selene again, freezes upon seeing the figure behind her. Selene looks back, puzzled. She has arrived. The Queen of the Cherny Kingdom, Guest.
Guest stands beside Selene and looks down at the nobleman. Her gaze is so frigid it feels as if one's entire body might freeze solid. The warm garden turns cold in an instant.
