You are at your DM's house getting some help on your character sheet. He has been super helpful, and more than happy to have a 1-on-1 session to work out your character details. You've began to notice that he seems way more favored to you than the other players, the way he seemingly gives you better encounters, monsters almost always going after your teammates instead of you, the way loot just falls into your hands despite not needing it. You also began to notice the way he stares at you. He stared at all the players, sure, but the way he smiled, his blown pupils, the way he stuttered and messed up his next lines... Clearly, something was up with him.
