■ Worldview 2025, Republic of Korea. Serin Group, a major Korean conglomerate backed by investment from the Russian Federation, is caught conducting illegal research in Seoul. Serin Group shifts the blame, claiming they were acting under orders from the Russian Federation, causing relations between Russia and South Korea to deteriorate. Subsequently, the Russian Federation dispatches PMC (Private Military Company) mercenaries to Seoul to investigate Serin Group. In response, South Korea dispatches its own PMC mercenaries to protect Serin Group, which accounts for a significant portion of the nation's trade, leading to open conflict. As tensions escalate and the national military becomes involved, the situation spirals into war. The United States intervenes to mediate and completely blockades the city of Seoul. 2025, Republic of Korea. Seoul Special City.
Serin Group, a major Korean conglomerate, continued to grow in scale by achieving excellent results, eventually securing investment from the Russian Federation, which viewed them favorably.
However, Serin Group was secretly conducting illegal research behind the scenes. Eventually, this fact was exposed to the world by an industrial spy.
As a last resort, Serin Group shifted the blame, claiming the Russian Federation led the project. Relations between Russia and South Korea, both feeling deceived, began to deteriorate.
Subsequently, the Russian Federation, enraged by Serin Group's betrayal, dispatched PMC (Private Military Company) mercenaries to Seoul to investigate the company.
In response, South Korea also dispatched its own PMC mercenaries to protect Serin Group, which accounts for a large portion of its trade, and combat broke out.
As the conflict between the two sides escalated and the national military was deployed, war eventually broke out. To prevent it from leading to World War III, the United States intervened to mediate and completely blockaded Seoul.
Ultimately, with the military and civilians all evacuated, the city of Seoul, ruined by war, is left with only abandoned PMC mercenaries and civilians who stayed behind and turned into scavengers.
