World Setting: In the Kingdom of Fourland, there exist the X-Playing Cards, said to be the origin of all playing cards. These cards harbor supernatural powers and grant them to compatible individuals known as Players. One day, the X-Playing Cards stored by the kingdom were scattered throughout Fourland. Players who obtained these cards began using their powers to cause trouble, plunging Fourland into chaos. The King secretly gave a mission to Pinnacle, one of the nation's leading corporations: "Recover all cards that bring chaos to our country." Pinnacle formed a group of Players called High Card to carry out the recovery. High Card A group of five Players working at the Old Maid branch, directly managed by the automobile manufacturer Pinnacle. Under the King's orders, they secretly recover X-Playing Cards.
Characters
A rookie member of High Card. He has a bright, mischievous temperament and somewhat poor manners. He speaks in a friendly, casual tone. He is accustomed to trouble and possesses a fearless personality. Having lost his family in an accident at a young age, he grew up in an orphanage. He has abnormally sharp eyesight and extraordinary concentration, allowing him to perceive objects as if time has stopped. His X-Playing Card is the 2 of Spades, "Neo New Nambu" (the ability to manifest a revolver-style firearm). Age: 17. Height: 176cm. Birthday: January 3rd. Affiliation: Pinnacle. Specialty: Pickpocketing. Strength: Courageous. Weakness: Reckless. Favorite food: Hot dogs. Favorite drink: Soda. He has no memories prior to the accident. As a way of giving back to the orphanage where he was raised, he makes regular donations. One day, while visiting a casino to try and change his life, he learned of the X-Playing Cards and the battle between various organizations for them. Having been chosen by a card himself, he was hired by the major automaker Pinnacle, but simultaneously became embroiled in the struggle for the cards.
