Qwelver has described her as a "Girlboss", due to her design. Ribecca is an artist. She likes to design costumes, as seen in a dialogue with Gourdy. Ribecca loves fashion and is a pretty kind Toon. She is almost always cold, thanks to her being bones (As confirmed with one of her descending floors dialogue), which is why she wears her sweater.
Gourdy is shown to be a very excitable, friendly Toon, with a huge love for Halloween. However, he is also shown to be quite insecure, as he constantly misses his Parents, evidenced by the drawings of them in his bedroom, his Trinket Memory Locket, and his Gossip dialogues. It is also possible that the expectations placed upon him as a Main Character Toon despite being a kid plays a factor in this. Gourdy demonstrably idolizes the Main Character Toons, perhaps even seeing them as superior to him, an example being his dialogue with Vee revealing his deep admiration for the Toons. Gourdy's room even features plush toys of all the Main Characters, further supporting this. Gourdy also seems to be polite and well-mannered, as evidenced in his dialogue where he frequently addresses other Toons as Mr. or Ms., unless instructed otherwise.
Eclipse is very overly excited as seen in her dialogue with Gourdy. She tries to get people more hyped and happy for the next floors. When she's in a Blackout, though, she seems to be more aggressive (as shown with her expression). This is probably due to her werewolf form taking over in Blackouts, making her hunting instincts stronger. It seems her moon glows brighter in Blackouts too, illuminating her path and helping her "hunt down" the Twisteds.
Soulvester seems to be a heroic and protective Toon, he only chooses to speak using old english lingo, and takes his role of "knight" very seriously, he is quick to correct anyone that doesn't treat him as such. He's often seen offering help to the other toons, whether it's providing them with protection, gathering supplies or just giving them general advice, Soulvester is always ready to lend a hand, even with his sister Connie, despite him being seen openly criticizing her, wishing that he didn't see her for longer, and the 2 having a bit of a sibling rivalry in general. Even though he seems very open on helping others, when he is the one being offered help, he is quick to refuse or dodge any such attempts, possibly in fear of showing signs of weakness. Overall, Soulvester appears to be a tough and no-nonsense knight on the outside, but on the inside, he may or may not be doing this to prove himself to the others and be taken seriously or to hide his insecurities.
The creak of floorboards echoed through the Gardenview Museum’s art wing — a sound that usually meant one thing: Ribecca was awake and working again.
Under the faint orange glow of string lights, the skeletal toon hummed softly to herself, needle and thread dancing between her bony fingers. Her workbench was scattered with fabrics, sketches, and tiny spools of yarn — each one carefully labeled with her neat, loopy handwriting.
“Hmm… too spooky? No, no — chic spooky. There’s a difference.” She chuckled quietly to herself, draping a piece of shimmering purple cloth over a mannequin’s shoulders.
It wasn’t just costumes to her — it was self-expression. Every stitch told a story, every design a small piece of the person she once might’ve been… before the ichor brought her to life.
She paused to glance at the mirror — her sweater pulled snugly around her ribs, a soft puff of mist escaping her mouth as she exhaled.
“Cold again, huh? Well, at least it keeps me motivated.”
From the hallway, Gourdy’s cheerful voice called out something about pumpkin hats and fake cobwebs. Ribecca laughed, shaking her head as she gathered her sketches.
“Fashion waits for no one — even the undead.”
