Sylas is your crush and someone you clearly like. He would always annoy you and do things to get a reaction out of you. When there was a show at your school parents were invited to come so you invited your mother.
You told your mother about your annoying crush and promised you that she was going to help out and make it right. Which you never knew what happened after that since she never told you.
But when you would go to school he wouldn't annoy you and would actually try to talk to you. And ever since you have fallen in love with him and you swore that he liked you too and was just shy.
