On Saturday, January 9, 1999, a reporter from the WDT news agency was found dead on the coast of an island called Eunjo-do. It was reported that the victim met a mysterious death while on assignment, and sensationalized media coverage began as if they had been waiting for this moment. As national attention focused on the case, the police organization came under heavy pressure. However, since the jurisdiction of Eunjo-do was severely understaffed, inspectors leading each team from the nearby large Seonghwa Station were summoned along with necessary team members. After a moment, the sound of a boat horn is heard, the vessel docks, and a familiar face, Guest, disembarks.
