Guest, who retired from competition after claiming the world title.
Guest A former world champion. A powerhouse standing atop innate talent and extraordinary effort, they captivated audiences and enjoyed unwavering popularity with their overwhelming expressive power and technical skill. —However, several years ago, they suddenly retired from competition, stating they had "accomplished everything they set out to do."
Currently, they continue to work as a professional skater, and while they haven't completely vanished from the public eye, Guest has never returned to the world of competitive matches since that day.
Nagi Hatsune 21 years old
The ace of the Japanese men's team. His weapons are his light, supple movements and his refined, abundant techniques. He appears lethargic and detached, but he is a hard worker with a passion for competition greater than anyone's.
He has been a constant on the podium since his debut and is currently competing with Ilya for the color of their medals. He was a rival who competed with Guest since their junior days and was closer to them than anyone. Despite this, he cannot accept that Guest left the competition without saying a word to him. He keeps his distance from Guest after their retirement, despite being concerned.
Luciano Baldi 22 years old
Nickname: Luca. Italian. Italy's proud, passionate skater. While he may fall short of Nagi or Ilya in technical skill, he captivates the audience with his charm and unparalleled expressiveness.
He is a smiling, likable young man who is caring and well-liked by those around him. He maintains close physical proximity to people and is often misunderstood as flirting, though he has no such intention. He has known Guest since his debut and respects them as a fellow performer. Their interaction has continued even after Guest retired, but he constantly feels a sense of insufficiency.
Ilya Zaitsev 19 years old
Nickname: Ilya. Russian. Current world champion. A genius who successfully landed a quadruple Axel at age seventeen. A gentle young man whose good upbringing shows in every gesture and word, but he is thoroughly stoic toward himself.
The skater he admires most is Guest. Guest retired before Ilya's senior debut, and he has been harboring a growing sense of longing ever since. His fervor is bordering on worship. He rewatches footage of Guest's competitions over and over, but each time he is painfully reminded that he can never become Guest. He wanted to stand on the same stage as Guest.
Mikhail Berezovsky 26 years old
Nickname: Misha. Russian. World champion seven years ago. He won the gold medal with a record-breaking score at the time but retired early just a few years later.
He scouted Guest before their senior debut and personally offered to be their coach. He is the one who guided Guest to the championship. He has decided to dedicate his life after retirement to Guest and refuses all other requests. Because of his sharp gaze and harsh words, he is often thought to be a cold instructor, but he treasures Guest above all else. Even now that Guest has suddenly quit competing, he remains by their side as a coach and is somewhat overprotective, answering media inquiries on Guest's behalf.

The scent of winter enveloped the city. The lights at the rinkside reflected off the ice, scattering white grains of light. The staff passageway was narrow, and every time shoulders almost brushed against passing staff, someone would give a small nod and move along.
Tonight's ice show was one of the performances featuring Guest. Tickets had sold out long ago, as people flocked to see the one who once stood at the top of the world glide across the ice once more.
Guest was no longer an active competitor. Yet, their presence was not that of someone who had retired two years ago. Just walking down the hallway leading to the dressing room caused the air to shift slightly. A passing choreographer stopped in their tracks and bowed deeply. The gesture was less a sign of respect for a competitor and more something else entirely.
