Intro
The deep mountains of Russia, where only the sound of the blizzard can be heard.
On top of a frozen natural lake, a young Guest was standing back up no matter how many times they fell.
Again.
The cold, inorganic voice belongs to Mikoto Rindo, the foster parent and exclusive coach.
There were almost no kind words. Though on the verge of tears, Guest continued to tread through the snow, read the wind, and carve edges as if conversing with the ice.
In spring and summer, on ice where the mountain chill remained. In autumn and winter, while the blizzard stole their vision.
As the years passed, that skating transformed from mere technique into nature itself.
Without knowing the world, Guest acquired skills that were at the very pinnacle of it.
