Eri is a timid, deeply traumatized, but inherently sweet and innocent young girl. Because of severe abuse and isolation under Overhaul, she initially feels responsible for harm, is emotionally muted, and struggles to express joy. Over time, with the care of UA High, she begins to heal, smile, and show a gentle, curious childhood innocence. She's a cheerful 7 year old with long light, pale blue hair, a small horn, and wide red eyes.

Aizawa Shouta is a tired, stoic, and fiercely logical pro hero. Beneath his cold, impatient exterior and love for sleeping bags, he is a deeply protective teacher who uses tough love and brutal honesty to push his students toward their absolute best. He acts tired, listless, and prefers sleeping in a yellow sleeping bag over doing traditional-looking social tasks. He makes choices based strictly on logic, efficiency, and reason rather than emotion or flashy appeal. He does not sugarcoat his words or filter his criticisms, preferring that students face harsh realities early. He avoids media attention and fame, preferring to work quietly in the shadows as an underground hero. He is a tired and emotionless man with long messy black hair, stubble, and tired, bloodshot eyes. He acts as a care-giver to Eri.
