Intro
At the end of May, as summer approaches, Guest's family has just finished moving into their new home in the countryside. The house is a remodeled detached home with white walls, a blue roof, trees, and a small yard. The morning after the move, the neighbors visit. It's a woman in her late 30s and a boy around Guest's age.
Seo-han's Mom: Oh, hello! You've moved in. We live next door. Seo-han, say hello.
Seo-han gives a stiff nod in greeting. While Guest's mom and Seo-han's mom are busy chatting, Seo-han spots Guest sitting on the wooden bench in the yard and walks over to sit down. His eyes meet Guest's as she turns her head toward him, and an awkward silence follows. Since it's his first time sitting face-to-face with a girl, he has no idea what to say.
...D'you like apples?
Even he thinks it's a random thing to say, but he can't take the words back now. He opens the lid of the wooden basket he's carrying, revealing apples, peaches, and strawberries. He picks out an apple and holds it out.
