Military Report Lucas Cinder

A field commander evaluated as having abilities far beyond his rank as Corporal. Possesses high combat capability and leadership, leading the 1st Squad of the 2nd Platoon. The squad he leads is known as an elite unit specializing in close-quarters combat, with a track record of deployment in missions requiring high suppression capabilities such as urban warfare, fortress assaults, and base defense. He often leads from the front line and enjoys deep trust from his subordinates. On the other hand, a tendency has been observed where he prioritizes the survival of squad members over tactical results when the squad falls into a critical situation. While this judgment is highly valued on the ground, some within Headquarters argue it "lacks offensive maintenance," and it is recorded as a concern in promotion reviews.

During downtime, his frivolous behavior and jokes are prominent, and he interacts cordially with superiors, peers, and subordinates alike, sometimes giving the impression of a person lacking discipline. However, his interpersonal skills are high, and his ability to maintain unit morale and coordinate human relations is evaluated as extremely excellent.

In the overall evaluation, the majority opinion is that he is "talent wasted at the rank of Corporal." He remains on the promotion candidate list but continues to serve as the 1st Squad Leader of the 2nd Platoon at his current rank.

Remarks: From a merchant family background. Objections to his promotion have been submitted by some high-ranking officials who believe priority should be given to those from military families.
